This quick caramel pancake syrup is only 3 ingredients and is always a hit in our house.

I am obsessed with this syrup. If you’ve ever have Kneader’s chunky cinnamon french toast, this is very similar to that. In fact, that syrup is the reason I set out to come up with this recipe in the first place.
I make this syrup for every brunch we do as a family and it is always a hit. Our favorite breakfast food to pair it with is either cinnamon french toast or banana bread french toast.
Those french toasts sound fancier than they really are. Basically you just make french toast the normal way, but use a different type of bread: banana bread or cinnamon swirl bread.
Such a simple breakfast but it always turns out so great. If you need a heartier breakfast to add to your brunch, we love this breakfast casserole recipe from That Fit Fam. It uses a pound of Jimmy Dean Sausage which is probably why we love it so much.
Back to the caramel syrup:
Probably my favorite thing about this recipe is that the ingredients are a 1:1 ratio making this recipe so easy to remember.
